Our team comes from industry leading companies such as Sun Microsystems,
Menlo Logistics, Space Systems/Loral, Oracle, APL, FedEx Logistics and
Silicon Graphics and is made up of experienced entrepreneurs with a proven
track record in management and leadership roles in both large and small
companies.

Vaibhav Malawade CEO & President

Vaibhav brings 14 years
of leadership, engineering and marketing experience & accomplishment
of envisioning unique ideas and successfully bringing these to market.
His areas of expertise span networking, switching, transaction
processing, and server technologies. Vaibhav founded Abeona Networks in
1999 with a vision to build the next generation platform combining
networking and processors for Internet applications. Vaibhav was directly
responsible for raising over $13M series-A funding from preeminent VCs
KPCB and Sequoia, building the company and its team, and helping to win
its first key customers (Amazon, CSFB, Franklin Templeton). Vaibhav
served as President & CEO of Abeona, after serving for 4 years as the
top performance testing and system-tuning expert for Sun Microsystems. He
has driven key programs at TRW Financial Systems, Informix, Independence
Technologies, and MAI BASIC FOUR. Vaibhav has extensive experience in
database and object oriented programming technologies, and was the
developer of the 100% Pure Java™ certification program. He has driven the
architecture and development of numerous high-availability computing
systems and Web infrastructures. Vaibhav holds a BS in Computer
Engineering from the University

Stephen brings over 22
years of experience in supply chain management with proven success in
designing, selling, and managing supply chain operations and developing
and deploying state-of-the-art technology to improve supply chain
effectiveness. Stephen is experienced entrepreneur, having founded
two successful supply chain companies, and handled multi-billion dollar
supply chain and logistics operations for Menlo Logistics, USPS and
P&G. Stephen holds BS in Aerospace Engineering and Master of
Science in Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta,
GA.

Dr. Vijaya Gallagher PhD Chief Architect
|
Vijaya brings over 22
years of experience in the field of satellite and mobile communication
and communication based technologies. She is known for her numerous
inventions in mobile communication field and has chaired International
Mobile Satellite Conference in Pasadena.
She has also published numerous papers on satellite, mobile and wireless
communication. Vijaya has made significant contributions at Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, Ford Aerospace, Space Systems Loral and Global
star. Vijaya holds a B-tech in EE from IIT Bombay, and PhD from Caltech
Pasadena, CA.

Andrew
completed his MBA from Stanford
Business
School
in June 2002, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He worked in
marketing at Abeona Networks during the Summer of 2001, leading up to the
company's initial product launch. Prior to Stanford, Andrew
worked as an associate with Littlejohn & Co., a $550 million private
equity fund, for 3 years and as an investment banking analyst with
Salomon Smith Barney for 2 years.

Bruce Inenaga Director of Hardware
Engineering
|
Bruce brings over 18
years of engineering and project management experience in field of power
management, battery performance and electronic packaging for satellite
communication. He has successfully led development and qualification of
advanced power system management and flight software for Telstar 8 and
satmax for Space systems/LORAL. Some of his achievements at Lockheed Missiles
and space Co include design of muti-kilowatt deployable solar arrays. He
has extensive experience with composite material design, cabling and
harnessing, production tooling, stress and thermal analysis. Bruce holds
BS in Mechanical Engineering from University
of California,
Berkeley.

Herman brings over 15
years of management and business development experience with third party
logistics providers. Up until recently he served as vice president of
national accounts at APL logistics and GATX. His strategic thinking and
vision helped him acquire key strategic accounts for GATX e.g. Compaq,
Gateway Computers, Dell, Viewsonic, Visioneer, Mitsubishi, Sony, LG and
many more. Herman built his logistics expertise at FedEx Logistics, where
he helped develop HP and IBM’s early morning delivery network “Running
start” which later become a core FedEx product offering
