Real-Time Information by Request
LoranTrack allows any authorized party to find out the status of a shipment in real time. The following are the types of information that can be made available upon request:

Where the shipment is at any point in time, anywhere in the world.

Where the shipment is supposed to be at that time and approximately how far behind schedule the shipment is.
Real-Time Dynamic Exception Alert
In addition, LoranTrack will proactively notify customers when exceptions occur, such as:

When the shipment strays from its original schedule.

If the shipment is delayed at any point.

If the shipment is going somewhere it is not supposed to (either because it has been stolen, fallen off the boat or loaded onto the wrong vessel).

When the container is opened, whether by Customs, the customer, or someone unauthorized.

When the container has been jolted, tilted or dropped beyond specified tolerance levels.

When radiation or chemical agents have contaminated the container.

When the container has been contaminated by seawater.

Complete Dock-to-Dock Audit Trail
Finally, LoranTrack’s solution provides an audit trail enabling any authorized person the ability to verify the complete history of a particular shipment, including a log of any exceptions that occurred during shipment.

Audit trail is logged into Lorantec’s centralized database where it can be accessed by any authorized person at any time.
